Q: What's so special about Little Circles?
A: I'm glad you asked! LC is a one woman, independent business, run and operated by me, Erin Perkins Curet. I personally order, bind, cut, package, label and ship every single package of paper that is ordered from this website. As a quilling artist myself, I take great care to source quality paper and products that I love to use, and that will last a lifetime in my art.
Q: Where are you located? Can I visit your shop?
A: Little Circles is an online supplier only, so there is no physical location to visit at this time. Little Circles orders are currently shipped from both northern Michigan, and coastal Mississippi - I frequently travel between both.
Q: What are your hours of operation?
A: Generally, I am working in the studio in some capacity M-F, 10-5pm EST - however, I keep things very flexible to meet the needs of my family and other projects that I take on. Little Circles is not open on weekends, holidays, or during vacation periods.
Q: I sent you an email, when will you respond?
A: I try to respond to emails within 1 business day, but due to limited time in the studio, I only check it 2x per day.
Q: What does it mean that the website is on vacation?
A: As the only employee, when I go on vacation, so does Little Circles! All orders placed during this time will stand in queue, and will be filled in the order they were placed when I return.
About Our Products
Q: You have a lot of colors, do you send free samples?
A: While I am working really hard to be the favorite quilling paper supplier of every quiller in the world, I am do not have samples to send out.
Q: Is your paper acid free?
A: Yes it is.
Q: What weight are your papers?
A: I source from a variety of manufacturers, so there is some variation, but approximately our weights are as follow:
Culture Pop: 70lb text, On Edge Outline: 110lb stock, On Edge Medium: 80lb stock, On Edge Rolling: 60lb stock
Q: Why do the widths of the paper I ordered not match exactly?
A: All of the paper on this website is cut by me, not by an automated machine; this means that it varies slightly. I use a machine to assist me, but each move and cut is operated by my human eyes and hands. Most of our customers love the texture that the variation adds to their work, however, some projects may call for paper from a supplier who has a system that is automated.
Q: I need a special width of paper that I don't see on your website, can you cut it for me?
A: Sometimes. If I have the colors you need in stock, and the time to cut it for you, I am happy to do so. Email me and we can discuss it.
Q: I am hosting a quilling class/event, would you be a sponsor?
A: As much as I'd love to sponsor every quilling event, I am only able to say yes a couple of times each year. Email me and we can chat about the possibility.
Orders & Ordering
Q: I can't find the color I want, can you help me?
A: Of course. Email me and I'll try to find a close match if I have it.
Q: My favorite color isn't on the site any longer, what happened?
A: Unfortunately paper manufacturers discontinue colors often, and therefore so do I. If you need a small amount to finish a project, please send me an email. I may have some in my personal stash or can put you in touch with other quillers who may be able to help you out.
Q: I need to add something to my order, can you add it and just charge my card?
A: I can definitely help you out, but I can't actually amend the order you placed (I do not have access to your credit card, nor can I add items and then charge you for them). I can help you place an additional order, without the additional shipping cost, and then ship both out together. Email me and we'll sort it out.
Q: Where is my order?
A: If you have not been emailed a shipping confirmation, your order is likely in the queue. Orders are filled in the order they are received, during business hours. Approximate order processing time can be found on the upper left hand side of the website at any given time. Processing times/days vary dependent on the amount of orders, my travels, holidays, etc. If you need an exact estimate, please email me prior to placing your order.
If your order has shipped, please refer to the tracking number in the shipping confirmation email you were sent, or through your account on Little Circles. If you need further assistance, please email me.
Q: Why does it take so long for my order to ship? Amazon gets my stuff to me in 2 days!
A: I am so sorry, but I cannot compete with Amazon. Little Circles has the best paper for quilling in all the lands, but not the quickest hands or shipping - and I'm closed on weekends :)
Q: Can I place my order over the phone?
A: Yes you may. Email me and we will set up a convo.
Q: Do you have a catalog?
A: No, I do not offer a physical catalog.
Q: I love a good deal, do you have sales?
A: I typically host a sale 2x per year, and send out discount codes to my email subscribers a few times per year. If you would like to be informed about promotions, click the "Quilling Goodies" tab at the bottom of this page, and sign up for notifications.
Returns, Refunds, & Exchanges
Q: I don't like what I ordered, can I return it for a refund?
A: Yes. I accept returns of any unused, unopened products - for any reason - within 30 days of delivery, less shipping costs.
Q: I need to return my order, will you send me a return shipping label?
A: In most cases, no, I do not cover the cost to return an order to me unless the reason for the return is my fault. If I am at fault, then yes, I will cover the cost of the return shipping.
Q: There is a mistake in my order, can you fix it?
A: Absolutely! I definitely make some mistakes, and I'm always eager to fix them. Email me and we'll figure out the best way to make your order right.
Q: I ordered the wrong thing, can I exchange it?
A: Yes. Email me and I will help you get everything sorted out.
Q: I can't sign into my account, can you help me?
A: Probably. I don't have access to passwords, but if you've placed an order on the website before, it's probable that I can figure out the email address that you used to sign up, and you can then reset your password using that. Email me and I'll try to help you.
Discount Codes & Gift Certificates
Q: Can I combine multiple discount codes?
A: No, only one discount code can be used per order.
Q: I have a gift certificate and a discount code, can I use both?
A: Yes, but the website's system is not set up to handle that. Email me and I will help you place your order.
Shipping & Delivery
Q: How much do you charge for shipping?
A: I charge a flat rate shipping charge on all US ($6) and Canadian ($16) orders. These costs pay the minimum amount charged to me by the shipping companies, and then I cover all additional shipping costs, regardless of how much you order.
Q: Do you ship outside North America?
A: Yes, but I no longer offer flat rate shipping due to a huge increase in shipping costs. If you would like to place an order and you reside outside the US, please email me for a shipping estimate.
Q: Do you offer free shipping?
A: Yes. I offer free shipping on US orders over $75.
